The app uses the magnetometer built into a compatible phone to display changes in magnetic-field readings. Results depend on the device, its sensor, calibration, surroundings, and distance. The app is an informational tool, not a professional inspection instrument.
A phone magnetometer responds mainly to ferromagnetic materials and magnetic fields. The app does not identify gold, silver, copper, aluminum, coins, or a specific object, and it cannot guarantee that a hidden camera or other device is present or absent. EMF mode measures magnetic field; it does not measure radio-frequency signals such as Wi-Fi or 5G.
Wall Scanner may help you notice magnetic traces from metal or energized wiring. It does not directly detect wood studs and cannot confirm that a place is safe to drill. Before drilling, check for electrical wires and pipes with suitable professional equipment and follow local safety guidance.
Do not use app readings as a health, radiation-safety, security, or emergency assessment. No measurement or guide result is guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
Photos and videos captured with Camera Mode are saved inside the app. They are added to your Photos library only when you choose the save action. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions or consent required before recording or sharing people or property.
Features depend on compatible device hardware and operating-system permissions. We may update or discontinue features as needed. These terms may be updated with a new revision date.
