Metal Detector — Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Metal Detector - EMF Scanner, published by Batuhan Senavci ("the app"), handles information.

Measurements, photos, and videos

• Magnetometer readings, saved measurement notes, and camera photos or videos are stored locally in the app on your device. The app does not upload them to our servers or provide cloud sync.
• Camera access is used when you open Camera Mode. Captures stay in the app unless you choose Save to Photos; that action adds the selected photo to your Photos library.
• iOS may include app data in device backups according to your device settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data; copies you separately saved or backed up may remain.
• The app does not create accounts and does not request location or microphone access.

Advertising — Google AdMob

The app is free and ad-supported. Google AdMob serves ads and may process device identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, and information such as IP address to provide and measure ads. On iOS, you can respond to Apple's tracking permission prompt and adjust tracking permissions in Settings. Consent choices may also be offered where required. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.

Analytics — Google Firebase

Firebase Analytics receives app usage events and related device or app information to help us understand and improve app use. Events can include onboarding completion, opening a mode, saving a measurement, completing the guide, and rewarded-ad completion. Measurement values, notes, photos, and videos are not included in those app events. Google describes Analytics data handling in its Firebase privacy information and Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You can manage camera and tracking permissions in iOS Settings. You can delete saved items in the app or remove the app and its local data. Ads may still be shown if tracking is denied.

Children

The app is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
