Privacy policy

Lessloop helps you plan your attention, keep a personal journal, and optionally restrict selected apps during focus sessions. It does not require an account. This policy describes the iPhone and iPad app.

Your journal and focus information

Your written plans, notes, ratings, selected-app tokens and focus-session history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives this information. The Screen Time monitor extension uses the shared focus state only to apply and release restrictions. Journal notes are stored separately and are not shared with the extension.

Journal Pro reviews use only your manually entered journal entries. They do not measure app usage or time saved. PDF creation happens on your device. If you choose to share a PDF, its contents are handled by the destination you choose. Check the document before sharing it.

There is no in-app cloud sync. Device backups may include local app data according to your Apple settings. Apple controls its backup services. Removing an entry removes it from the app on that device; existing backups and previously exported copies are managed separately.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics for Firebase is off by default. If you enable usage statistics in Privacy & settings, Google may process basic app activity, app and operating-system versions, device information, an app-instance identifier and approximate location derived from network information. We do not send selected apps, Screen Time tokens, journal text, ratings, or focus-history records. Advertising storage and personalization consent in Firebase Analytics remain denied.

Optional crash reports

Firebase Crashlytics is off by default. If you enable crash reports, Google may process crash stack traces, app and device details and installation identifiers to help diagnose failures. We do not attach journal notes, selected apps or focus records. Turning this off stops future voluntary crash collection and deletes unsent reports when possible. Reports already received are subject to Google's retention controls.

Purchases

App blocking and basic journal entries are free. Journal Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase. Apple handles payment and payment-card details. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user identifier, store transaction and entitlement information, app/device details, and network data needed to validate purchases and restore access. We do not send RevenueCat your journal or Screen Time information. We cannot see your full payment-card number.

Advertising and tracking

Version 1.0 (build 5) does not include advertising or advertising-consent SDKs. It does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA) or track you across other companies' apps and websites. Firebase Analytics uses its core package without advertising identifier support. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain denied, including when you opt into usage statistics. An App Tracking Transparency prompt is therefore not requested in this version.

Service providers and retention

We use Apple, Google Firebase, and RevenueCat. Providers may process data in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards. See Apple's privacy policy, Firebase privacy information, Google's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy. Local records remain until you remove them or delete the app. Purchase records may be retained to restore access and meet legal requirements. Optional service data follows provider retention settings and applicable law.

Your choices and requests

You can edit or delete journal entries, disable optional analytics and diagnostics, revoke Screen Time permission in iOS, or remove the app. There is no account to delete. Contact mobileappssupport0@gmail.com for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests. Because we do not receive your local notes, we cannot recover them. Please do not send private journal contents or payment information in a support email. Store transaction identifiers may be needed for purchase support.

Audience and changes

Lessloop is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. Screen Time authorization follows Apple's eligibility rules. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. Material policy changes will be reflected on this page and, where required, in the app.
