MealAI ("the App") is a meal tracking and nutrition insights application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.
The following data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:
AI Insights (DeepSeek API via Supabase): When you use AI Insights features, your meal data and queries are sent to our secure proxy server (Supabase), which forwards them to the DeepSeek AI service for analysis. This data is not stored on our servers and is only used to generate the requested insight.

Your meal data is stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite databases. AI requests are transmitted over HTTPS.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
